La preghiera con l\u2019icona ha lo scopo di aiutare a rientrare pienamente dentro di s\u00e9 nell\u2019esclusiva compagnia di Dio \u201c\u00abnel segreto\u00bb davanti al nostro Padre\u201d (Mt 6,6) nell\u2019ascolto della Parola.
